Dr. Allan Hawryluk Sr. was a kind and gentle man and a great father.
As the founder of St Lawrence Dentistry, he was a skilled dentist, enjoyed his career, and loved seeing everyone at the clinic. We all miss him and are grateful for the time we had, and we appreciate the outpouring of support after his loss.
On Aug 29th/22, six months after the passing of Allan Sr., his remains were placed under a newly planted tree at the Mississauga Golf and Country Club (a.k.a Mississaugua). My mother, brother Jon, and I all helped in the planting.
We are thankful for this beautiful and peaceful place alongside the 11th hole and the credit river. My brother Jonathan picked this spot for my father, and he enjoyed many golf games with our father there.
The tree my brother Jonathan chose is the Kentucky Coffee tree. It grows 15 to 25 meters high and has the largest leaves of any Canadian tree. The flowers are greenish-white in color.
We look forward to seeing the tree grow and visiting my father there. On behalf of our family, we would like to thank the Mississauga Golf course for helping us commemorate our father and friend.
